Default Sexy speakers: Need Help Picking a Sub

The Duevel Planets omni dispersion speakers from Urban Fidelity are beautiful, sexy, and affordable.

The Spheres
Not only do the chrome spheres get everyone talking, but they also function as precision wave guides designed to disperse sound in a perfect 360 degree pattern.

Specifications
Width: 10.2" (260mm)
Depth: 6.14" (156mm)
Height: 32.7" (830mm)
Weight: 22lbs (10kg) each
Minimum Power: 10 watts
Impedance: 4 Ohm
Sensitivity: 85dB SPL

The Cabinet
The cabinets themselves are also finely tuned devices, designed to perfectly compliment the omni orbs and custom drivers.

4.1 Home Theater
A four speaker Duevel package creates the most expansive sound experience in the world. And with identical speakers, the surround sound stays equal and even throughout the full 360 degree radius.

Phantom Center Channel
Duevel omni speakers negate the need for a center channel. By projecting a 360 degree field, the Duevels are able to create such a defined and alive center image that an additional center speaker is just not needed.

Price: $1395/pair
Colors: Silver, red, black, gunmetal, blue or green.

Reviews: http://www.urbanfidelity.com/planets/reviews.php

I plan to buy four (2 red and 2 blue) of them. What I need is a subwoofer that matches their beauty. I don't care about the price as long as the sub matches the speakers. Is it better for all 4 to be the same color? This is a picture of the planned setup.

Maybe this can fit the style of the speakers. I don't know if they do custom finishes, but you could contact them and see.

Edit: Here's another option. You could contact them and see if they'd do a custom order for you as well. The eD's are sold in pairs FYI. They'd be the best option if you decide to go with them.

those are mighty interesting... might I suggest the B&W PV-1 subwoofer for something in a somewhat matching style?

I've never heard this myself, but it looks nice lol

It is possible, but the sub looks too macho.

Look at the eD's if you want super macho. eD loves custom projects so you could contact them and see what they can do for you.

Something about this grabs my attention and you did say you didn't care about what it cost. I think it's around $4000. I also think there are some style options.

I heard them in a friend's house in Los Angeles a few months ago and I was pretty impressed. Obviously, you are taking a chance with all factory-direct speakers. I believe most of them have a 30-day money back guarantee.

That does not bother me. I don't plan to use a receiver. I have more old school amplifiers in my house than Amazon. They can handle 4 ohms.

Piega subs look gentle and nice. The information I found is that they come in two finishes:
Housing in silver finish and Top section aluminium.
Housing in black finish and Top section aluminium black anodized.

I believe the Ohm Speakers may have been the first omni-polar speakers, even before Mirage.

I am afraid if I put an ED subwoofer in the same room as the Planets speakers, it will scare them so much that they will refuse to play music. Even worse, the higher authority in the house (my wife) threatened to bring a lawsuit against the person who suggested ED. Driver King, you better find yourself a lawyer.
