That was me that voted Looper as number 5. Shame it didn't get higher. Great film. Best sci-fi in years, and I know the time travel system was a bit illogical. I didn't like it for the logic, I liked it for the story and characters.

Good start- none of my top 25 in this group. Hopefully this means they all are higher. I take that back- Dark Knight rises made my list.

Happy to see The Act Of Killing make the list. Remarkable documentary. Can't wait to see what the remaining results will be.

Pretty good start, seen all ten and enjoy quite a few of them. Melancholia and The Act of Killing both made my list and are well worth catching if anyone hasn't seen them.

Warms my heart to see The Dark Knight Rises so low.

EDIT: True Grit and Argo were in my Top 25, wish they'd made it higher. Other than TDKR, rest of the list looks good so far.

With all the (imo) unwarranted hate towards that movie, I'm surprised it even made the top 50. I love the sh*t out of it.

thewerepuppygrr,

Good job as always. How many individual voters ended up participating in this poll?

Great to see The Act of Killing get recognition. The power behind this documentary is staggering. It really hits hard.

Well, the poll only has at most 16 votes per titles so far, so it's an unrepresentative sample of our community

I was the #3 vote for True Grit... while I didn't think it would make the top 10 on this list... I'm still a bit surprised by it's low ranking (#44). Thought in might slip into the top 30 at least. Excited to see how this all turns out tho!

Pulling for my top 5 in this.

1. Guardians of the Galaxy
2. Inside Llewyn Davis
3. The Grand Budapest Hotel
4. John Wick
5. Cloud Atlas

I rewatched Interstellar a few days ago and I really wish I had put it at #5 instead of Cloud Atlas. It gets better and better every time I watch it.

Can't believe Looper and The Town are so low. They deserve way better scores.
