They showed the trailer for this in theaters before The Conjuring 2. Way too long of a trailer, and it was the usual boring jump-scare apparition nonsense we've seen a million times already. I do like the title of the film, though.

I have my doubts that the full length feature will be half as interesting, but I am curious to see how the pad the above film into a full 90 minutes. If you haven't watched the original short film above, you're in for a treat... and i Highly recommend watching it right before bed.

This movie looks really scary; especially the scene when each time she turned on the light, the spirit got closer and closer.. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Definitely want to see this movie.

Caught an early screening of this last week. Was surprised just how much fun this was. It looked pretty generic from the trailers but succeeded in being actually creepier than the short film that inspired it.

Day One for me.

Watched this in theaters today and was surprised by how much I really liked it! For a movie that is only 81 minutes long, it's just enough to carry a plot with characters you actually care about. Day one for me!

I saw this today with only 3 other people in theater. They were all at the bottom and I was the only one at the top. It was such a cool experience, almost felt like I was in there alone. I kept seeing Diana out of the corner of my eye. I really enjoyed this move though and it's a easy buy for me.

Really enjoyed this as well, been a fairly solid year for horror films. Only problem I had was with

[Show spoiler]Diana's appearance, when they finally showed her I knew they were going for the burn victim look because of her death but kinda preferred the way she looked in the short film more instead of the witch-y look.

Way more creepier imo.

LOL I definitely seen people mention the same thing, and that they definitely preferred the short film version appearance. The only thing problem that I encountered

[Show spoiler]was when Diana knocked on Rebecca's apartment door. Rebecca thought it was her boyfriend returning after shopping, but it was clearly Diana since there was no one around when Rebecca answered the door. If Diana hates and can't stay in the light, then how was she able to roam around the hallway of the apartment which was fully lit with light? Seems like they broke their own rule for that scene. Otherwise, solid horror film!

I loved this movie so much. Definitely my favorite movie that's come out this year (10 Cloverfield Lane is second). While I did like The Conjuring 2, I actually enjoyed Lights Out more.

This is a really great movie. It is terrifying and the characters were a lot smarter than most scary movie characters. 9/10, would recommend.

I'm not surprised by the lack of features but I will say I am surprised the original short film is absent from this release, especially given it's only 3 minutes long and wouldn't take up much space.
Either way I enjoyed the film so I'll be buying it at some point
