Default Harmony controllable wall switch

I am looking for a wall switch to take the place of my light switch so I can use my Harmony remote to turn the wall socket the switch controls on and off. I checked www.smarthome.com but I am trying to find something local.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and look for a brand called Lutron. I believe the Maestro IR line will work for you.

Yes, Last week I bought a Lutron IR switch from Lowes for 49.99. It comes with a remote, but my Universal works great with it

I picked up the MIR-600 that you guys recommended. It seems I am not using it as designed. I am using it to control a wall receptacle that has a transformer for LED lights plugged into it. When it is off the LEDs are dimly lit. I called Tech Support and they said not to use it to control a receptacle, and not to use it with a transfomer. I am going to leave it connected and see how I like the dim LEds all the time.

Well, something went crazy. I had the LED lights on and went outside for awhile. When I came back in no lights and the switch would not respond. Found the GFCI tripped in the kitchen. Reset the GFCI, still no lights. I checked voltage at the recepticle, ok. Swapped out the transformer and it worked. I then reinstalled my old toggle switch and I guess I will be returning the MIR-600
