Default I wish Amazon accepted PayPal.

Anyone else wish that Amazon accepted PayPal as payment? I'm pretty surprised they don't. Sometimes I have a bit of PayPal balance I'd be happy to blow on Amazon's site but they don't accept it so I use it on Best Buy's website instead since they started accepting it a while back. I wonder what the hang-up for them is???

Amazon has Amazon Payments, which is a competitor to Paypal. They are never going to take them. You have the option with Paypal to get a debit card, I always recommend people get those. You can use them almost everywhere and at ATMs.

I am doing just that. The debit card makes it a whole lot easier and unlike a credit card, I can only purchase something if I have money in my account. A win-win situation.

I am not entirely sure but the paypal balance can be moved to a card as well. I simply use the card through paypal if the option is available and directly if it is not.

You can directly link your bank account to Amazon which is the same as PayPal unless you're using PayPal Credit.

I feel that is the intent of the OP's post.

I have an amazon visa rewards card linked to my account an I think it's better than PayPal, no fees and I get 2% in cash back with every dollar spent on amazon.
