I thought there were a Laserdisc with even more extras?

EDIT: Appears the AU release has even MORE features and is Region Free. But it's 1080/50i and a BD25.

OWW is an extremely powerful film, with amazing acting. I saw this on DVD years ago. However, I'm not sure I ever want to see it again - it's quite brutal, with some horrific scenes.

Saw it at the cinema back in 94' -- incredible film, and still resonates over 20 years later. Luv my Icon (region-free) BD

Loved the Criterion Laserdisc back in the day and was hoping that they would pick this (and The Crying Game) up for its Blu-ray debut in the US.
It seems the company that did release it did a fine job.

@montyb -- 'The Crying Game' is finally being released on BD (region B) in the UK on Nov 21st ... unfortunately, it's currently listed on Amz.uk at almost 20 UK pounds + shipp'g

sorry to bump a very old thread, but I recently found out about this movie. I heard a lot of very positive reviews about it so I decided to blind buy it knowing not much about it. I'm very surprised there has been such relatively little talk about it in this forum.

Can't wait to watch this!
