Interesting news, thanks. If they add a mode that lets you avoid the 72 hour limit, that would be welcome, like in DR2 Off the Record for PS3, with no timer. In that game, I cleaned up the mall and walked around it's empty halls. Too bad it doesn't save that state, and the zombies appear on the next reload or return to that area.
Had DR1 on 360. The human enemies are not fun to battle most of the time, since they throw in a lot of cheap shots. |

That 72 hour limit was just idiotic.

I never played the original but DR2 had the time limit and I never had a problem with it. Its part of the game and gives it a sense of urgency. Im fine with it being retained but they need to fix the save system bc I heard it was terrible in the first game

Dead Rising will launch on PlayStation 4, Capcom has just confirmed to Eurogamer. But that's not all - it will also be released on Xbox One and PC.
Oh, and Dead Rising 2? That's headed to new consoles as well. "Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In addition, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will make their way onto Xbox One and PS4. We will have more news to share soon." Off the Record was the version of DR2 which brought back Dead Rising 1's protagonist Frank West, which makes sense as he's the star of the show in DR1 and the upcoming DR4 on Xbox One and PC, also due this year. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...-headed-to-ps4 |

The Dead Rising games are great for tons of zombies to attack in clever and unique ways, like a lawn mower for example or the custom gadgets the player can create. The maps are cool, and I'm wondering, with Dead Rising 3, did it leave behind the loading screens when entering another area of the city? That was one of the things I wanted to see.
In Dead Rising 1, there's a cheat you earn if you beat the game, where you can pretend you're a zombie and walk (very slowly) through the mall without a single zombie attacking. It's a pain only because you have to hold down the zombie button the whole time instead of a simple toggle button. The walk is extremely slow, but it's still a cool feature to check out the sights instead of always being on the run or attack. |

So the collection will get a physical release but it wont be complete as OTR is not included. Doesnt even appear as if it will be a DLC code, but an actual seperate purchase on PSN if you want it all. Odd. Also no mention of Case West or Case Zero |
