Ridley Scott's "Legend" on BD? - Blu-ray Forum

Legend with Tom Cruise. Any one like to see this on BR. I think it would be a great transfer. But it is a MCA/Universal release it may be some time before we see it.

I think this a pretty bad movie; the one outstanding feature is Jerry Goldsmith's superb music score.

I'd like to see both versions on 1 blu-ray, I like the version with the Tangerine Dream soundtrack.

I would have to agree, I prefer this soundtrack. Though to be honest I don't think it's a film I'd buy on BD, I don't dislike the film but I do own it on DVD and it's not one I'd double dip on.

Id buy this instantly. i was just thinking about this the other day.
only one thing, it needs the same treatment as my Ultimate Ed. DVD.

i prefer the directors cut, but grew up watching the USA cut.
sure, its not Ridley's best movie but is should be released anyway.
As should his other movies, i mean we already have blade runner...why stop there.

The Alien movies will be BIG sellers on HD, no doubt. Legend is more of a "sleeper" title.

I know many people don't like this film, but I love all the fairytale atmosphere and especially the music of Jerry Goldsmith which is a masterpiece. Unfortunately in the USA it was substituted by that awful Tangerine Dream score that didn't fit the mythical setting at all!
I hope it is released in Bluray. Anyone has heard anything?
After all this thread is 2 years old, and maybe we have some news on this?

I have to disagree, the TD soundtrack was perfect for the movie's atmosphere.
