Default KDL-V26XBR1 & Blu-ray movies...

Hello all

I am curious, does anyone else own this TV (Any size of the KDL-XBR1) and watch Blu-ray movies on it ?
How is your picture quality ? My PQ is not that good, its grainy, I own Casino Royal,Crank and Star Gate (All look grainy).
I have tried all setting with this TV and my PS3, none seem to help.
Note... This is not a issue with my PS3, I have tested it on a friends Panasonic plasma (His native resolution is 720p aswell, played the movies at 1080i, they look nice), so I dont think its a 1080i issue (Or on mine it might be).
I also tested his PS3 on my TV, same issue with PQ, So its a TV issue imo... Any experts on here ? If so reply with some settings (I have tried all I can think off, service menu maybe ?).
I have tried Cnet forums and AVS forums, not alot on this TV (Lots on the XBR2-3 though), SONY support is not very good, actually no help at all.
I use HDMI BTW, so if anyone has recomendations fire away.

Cool

Maybe try a different HDMI cable, or if that doesn't work, try component cables cuz it could even be your HDMI port. I don't know much about your model tv, but it would be the first things I'd try.

yeah i second that....if you didn't the first time, try the friend's hdmi cable with it....if you still see grain, switch to component and see....hopefully its just your hdmi cable
