Default please help

i have the orginal 60 gig ps3. the problem is i can play everyother bluray in my collection except for incredible hulk. once i put in the bluray ps3 searches and it doest find anything than i load my iron my disk still nothing. i reboot the ps3 and iron man loads. if i load hulk nothing plays. i have the latest firmware 2.5. i have checked the hdmi 24 heartz issue still nothing. please help.

Try disconnecting your PS3 off your wireless internet connection. It may be trying to connect to BD-Live. If that doesn't work then I don't know.

how do you have BD Internet Connection set?

allow or confirm? ...not sure if this affects your situation.

internet connection disabled, same problem. set the bd live to confirm still same problem. i even tried loading the same firmware again but it wont detect the firmware o the thumb drive.

1. Turn off Playstation®3.
2. Hold the power button down; the system will turn on and turn off once again.
3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

bond working, only hulk. i think it was the update, i tried loading the update again and it stops at 51% and reboots. hopefully soon sony will push another update.

have you tried your copy of hulk on another blu ray player? do any of your friends have a blu ray player you can try, so you can see if it is in fact maybe a faulty disc instead of your ps3

I have to say I have heard quite a few problems with the 2.50 firmware my 40 gig has been acting al ittle sluggish too I hope the give us a fix soon.

this the 3rd disk of IH, and yes it works on my firends PS3, and my other bluray player. i kow its not the disk. I have warrranty through bestbuy till Jan 09, but i just dont want to get rid of my orginal 60 gig due to the fact i play old ps1 and ps2 games. im hoping in a week or 2 they release a new patch. if not im going to wait till the new 160 gig comes out to exchange out the ps3. or convince my wifey i need the pio bluray player.

Well, i ended up buying a new bluray player.im good to go now, i will tell you ths much picture and sound quailty is so much better now. Even the wifey saw the difference in sound and picture. thanks for everyones help.
