Default Kolobos [1999]

I get it, few people enjoyed the late 90's, early 2000's horror flicks and not many of these movies will enjoy HD releases. With that said, please someone let Kolobos be one of those that do. Kolobos is not just one of the best slashers from that era, it's one of the best slashers ever.

I got the Russian DVD which is in 1.85:1 and looks spectacular and I would love it if this could be restored and released on Blu-Ray as I'm sure it would look even better.

this is a minor gem of a movie here. Has some major nods to Dario Argento's Suspiria. It's low budget but has some great effects and a cool little plot. Glad it's making its way to Blu-Ray

Pre-ordered this, will be a blind buy, and was about to cancel my order. Came here to ask about what fans thought, and you're count sold me on this. Will keep pre-order.

I used to know one of the directors on a horror forum back then. Pretty interesting history about how the movie came to be, especially the last half of the film which caused some controversy at the time over "WTF?" did I just watch.

I've been a fan of this since it was first released on VHS/DVD, and Arrow did a superb job as usual with this release...

The interviews and audio commentary were all well worth watching. I was oblivious to most of the details about how the film got made, etc..

Also... the 8mm "short film" on the disc is quite interesting after you listen to the audio commentary on it. A really interesting story goes with that one, sad and almost magical how it was "refound" decades later.

Just got a change to watch this one today after picking it up for $2.99 on iTunes. I really enjoyed it. Definitely in the lines of an old school slasher. I really liked the non CGI gore used in this one.

Imagine that! I was thinking about getting this on iTunes as well since it came up on sale for $2.99 again. I scanned the forum to see any comments about this film.
