Hey folks. When I got into Blu Ray collecting, I was initially only purchasing my absolute favorite films, or blind buying films I was certain I would love based on reviews/people involved/concept and so forth.
But as I've picked up more Blus, I've found myself getting a little looser with the rules, and I'm amassing more films than I realistically have time to sit down and REALLY enjoy and digest. Which tells me I should start being a little more discriminating. What are your personal criteria for whether you decide to buy a Blu Ray? |

It has to be a good film/show, with a quality transfer, at or near the lowest price it's ever sold for.
I try to watch at least the main feature on everything bfore I start buying anything new. I pretty much only buy Criterion stuff during the half off B&N sale or used (Criterion used to be the majority of what I bought). |
