Default simple audio issue

(not sure if this thread should go here or in the blueray player thread, so i tossed it in both.)

Hey everyone.

So im having some problems with my BD_HP20U, hooked up to the sharp aquos LC-37D62U with HDMI cable. Aside from the issues with certain discs that the old firmware won't remedy just yet. Its audio problems, sound is good when watching tv, but so far any blue ray i watch i have to have the volume cranked to max and even then its a tad quiet. I'm not too knowledgeable as to cords and settings so im just wondering if i need to hook other cords up? or settings i may be missing? im just running through the tv's speakers. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

That's pretty much normal for a TV - turn dynamic compression (late night mode) on in your player if it has it. Then start saving for a proper amp and speakers.
