Anyways... I know there's a push for Narcos (At least internally). Daredevil is ABC Studios call since they are ultimately the producer of all Marvel properties, as much as Netflix loves to boast about their exclusive streaming rights. fitprod |

When it is exceedingly not likely it is irrelevant. The Twilight Zone has more chance of showing up on UHD BD then streaming shows that do not get release for blu-ray. Last edited by uther; 04-09-2016 at 04:36 PM. |

The problem with shows available in 4K is most of them are Netflix or Amazon originals. Most of them don't even get a Blu-ray/DVD release unless they are produced by another studio like Lionsgate (Orange is the New Black), MRC/Sony (House of Cards), or Weinstein (Marco Polo) who only put them out since they can't make any additional money from syndication. I'm sure that they would prefer that none of their exclusive shows got a disc release at all.

Unfortunately it has been delayed to late 2017.
https://twitter.com/ShawnRyanTV/stat...50834912153600 I'd like to see this but it's a too niche market. SD on BD has been very rare too. |

A lot depends on whomever holds the rights to Stranger Things. If Netflix is worried about a UHD Blu-ray competing with their exclusive streaming version, there might be a clause in their distribution deal that prohibits a disc being produced for at least a certain amount of time.

I'd love to see it, I really would, but sadly it's going to be a while before we get it. That's why I am not scared to pick up any shows on blu-ray, especially since a lot of them get shunned for DVD only release still (even when they're broadcast in high definition which is mind boggling). It's probably going to take broadcast standards going to UHD resolution (which is coming sooner than some might think) and the format to continue to grow before you see this getting adopted by studios for home video.

I would expect a Game of Thrones UHD Pack after season 8, but i don't really expect them to release anything before that. I won't be surprised if that's the way other shows will go too. Waiting for them to be completely done, then releasing a UHD set, no individual seasons
