Sorry guys I thought I had posted this with my other threads - but then someone pointed out only 10 of the 11 titles from Fox were in the threads....

Ronin is being released by Fox on blu-ray on 2/24/09

Audio: English: DTS 5.1 HD / Spanish & French: Dolby Surround 5.1
Language: Dubbed: French & Spanish / Subtitled: English, French & Spanish
Theatrical Aspect Ratio: Widescreen: 2.35:1

Episodes-Bonus Features: **Widescreen Feature Film
**Trailers: Ronin, Usual Suspects, Walking Tall, Out of Time

Hope they do a better job on it, the UK release PQ was sub par.

hopefully this is just a "partial list" of extras (Dir. Commentary hopefully!). Besides that, love this movie---def. 1st day buyer. Great car chases, the Audio should kick ass. One of DeNiro's recent years Best efforts.

I have a feeling that it will look exactly like the UK release. Fox has never been known to do fresh encodes. Even after being delayed for a year Fox still released the old encode of Predator on Blu-ray.

Probably one of the best action movies to come out in the past 10 years. It somehow breaks new ground (unbelievable car chases) while retaining that "old-fashioned" quality that many modern films lack. Can't wait!!

I'm sorry guys, but Ronin was about one of the worst movies I can recall seeing. Sorry to disagree with your taste in movies, but I did not like it at all.

I'm trying to be helpful w/the blu-ray community and give out whatever release information I can - you might not appreciate it but others clearly do.

Well I did - I post all information i hear about here whether it is a movie i like or not. I'm sorry but i'm not the type of person to... well as others have said here "crap" on other people's taste in movies. I'm sure you have a slew of movies that other people don't like either - the difference here is they don't go around saying - Who cares!! There is a difference between voicing opposition or saying this is a movie i won't get because i don't like it and going around the forum saying "Whoooooo Cares"

I will definitely pick this one up. Now if we can just get some of John Frankenheimer's classics from the Sixties on Blu-Ray like The Manchurian Candidate, Seven Days in May, Seconds, and The Train. In addition to being great films, they were all shot with excellent deep-focus B&W photography and would make interesting HD material. There is still a derth of good B&W films available on Blu-Ray.

But I will be happy with Ronin in the meantime!
