Surprised Paramount didn't release the first one also the same day in UHD.

Was thinking exact the same thing.

Thought the first one was okay, was expecting the worst actually. Think I give the second movie a rental before purchasing.

Watched it the other day, and while better than the first one, it's still the sort of sensory overload that the Transformers films have devolved into. Lots of stuff happening, the camera is always moving, explosions and colour everywhere, breakneck pace.
Nothing I'll pcik up, but the picture quality is bound to look nothing short of outstanding.

I am torn. I liked this film a lot, but really enjoyed the 3D version of it in the theaters. Alas though...this not one you double dip on so I will have to go with the 4K version.

Cant wait to pick this one up. I enjoyed it much more than the first film which I thought was decent. This was just pure fun and I think paid much more of an homage to the 80s and 90s cartoon I grew up watching. I have the 2 pack that comes with the turtles lunch box on preorder from amazon because the collector in me is a sucker for that type of stuff lol. I do intend to pick the 4K version up though and I know it will look amazing because of all the color and little details that are present in this film

With these 4K releases I've been double buying both 3D and 4K versions. The review is pretty scathing.

Does this 4K have a UHD Digital Copy?

Thoughts on buying this too in addition to 3D?

I am in no way a reviewer or film critic, but I thought this movie was fun. Not good, fun.

Whatever you thought of the 2014 movie, if you liked the 90's cartoon style, then you will like this one more. If the 2014 movie was a 2/5 this one is a 3.5/5 or something like that.

Again, this ain't Shakespeare.

If the effects are rendered in 2D I don't see how the turtles faces could exhibit more detail than the 1080p Blu-ray. Could it be that the reviewer is watching 1080p material on a 4K TV, and since it's not native the up-scaling is making it look less detailed on that particular set-up? Or is 1080p material always reviewed on a 1080p TV?
