It's a very basic calibration software. It measure distance, sound pressure level, and crossover of your speakers. It doesn't EQ the front speakers. It's Onkyo's own calibration software. Why they dropped Audyssey is beyond me. I thought that since they dropped Audssey they would lower their prices but no such luck.

Tok is right. I had a 609 and sold it after 1 year because the calibration was only 2EQ. It didn't EQ the sub which is a must. Many high end audio stores stopped selling Onkyo. You'll see the brand mostly in big box stores. Not saying they don't sound good, they do but many people spend more for an advanced EQ like Audyssey's XT32 which is hands down the best I have heard. I've had Pioneer, Yamaha, Onkyo, Denon and now my Marantz SR7009 which has Audyssey XT32. I can't live without it. It sounds natural, warm, musical and detailed.
