Default Anyone kind of wondering what is going on with older releases?

There are sooo many really dreadful movies that made nothing at the box office in the past few years being released in different cuts on bluray but many of the older movies - some of which did quite well at the box office that still haven't been released.

Not all of these are classics but these are the ones I signed up for release info and a year later it looks like they are not any closer to a release date. I'm not complaining that anyone is to blame, I just find it odd that so many never got put on BD.

Money, and if the studios think it's a worthy investment, would be my guess.

The real question I want to know is; how did you get a star for posting one review?

I admit I know nothing about vudu - streaming service? I wonder if movies on HD channels that were not released on BD are being transmitted as real 1080 or if they just upscale a DVD or some such media.

I would say the days of catalog titles on Blu ray has seen its day with the studios. It will be up to the to indie labels like Kino, Shout, Olive, Twilight Time etc. to release them.
