Seasons 1-3 are available on BD; I'm waiting to hear about S4, and hoping a package price deal will make the set more affordable.
For those watching for news on Longmire, not only is Season 5 coming, I read yesterday of the episodes being longer as well. As a Netflix show they were right around 60 minutes. Season 5 could make each like a mini-movie if they go 75, or (even better) 90. |

Season four is due out September 13 on DVD and Bluray. However, it appears the DVD will be a wide release, while the Blu-ray will only available through the Warner Archive collection. At least, that's how it appears to be worded.

Season 1 & 2 were released separately on DVD a year apart, and the combined release on Blu-ray from WAC happened a few weeks after the DVD of S2. Seasons 3 was released on both DVD and Blu-ray on the same day, with the DVD being wide and the Blu-ray being from WAC only. There's no reason to expect different with Season 4.

Warner has a leg up over the other studios by using their own MOD label to release BDs that they don't think will sell well enough in the regular market. Note that Warner released The 100 S1 wide on both DVD and BD, but it obviously didn't sell well on BD, because they're doing S2 through the Archive. Same with the latest season of The Originals. And then there's The Mentalist, which got wide releases on DVD each season, but got an S1 release on Blu only three years ago, and through the Archive. And it obviously did poorly even as just an Archive release, because they never did another season on Blu. |
