If this Sniper Elite 4 has open world aspects, I'm definitely interested, since it offers a nice 3rd person view which I prefer over FPV when given a choice. I like the skeleton animations too.

Cannot wait for this. Flat out loved the last one. It's strange really this doesn't seem to get much love from Gamers and I don't know why, its brilliant.

Got mine today. Absolutely fantastic so far. Not even half away into the first map. It's massive.

They've made a few upgrades but it's mostly the same.

It's also playable in 3D if that's your thing.

I agree and i liked the first two games alot. On a side note i like to play zombie army trilogy with some friends which reminds of sniper elite. Def going to have to pick the new SE up soon.

Awesome news, thanks Dirkblack. I'll be buying this soon. Glad to hear the map is giant so far. The gameplay looks like fun and I like the bone crunching bullet time cinematics.

Cool, can't wait to give that a try. The bugs/glitches in the last game really killed getting some of the trophies for me, hope that doesn't happen in this game.

Authentic mode was too painful for me to bother with platinum in SE3; I expect the same for this one. It's a long enough game. I don't need to torture myself.

Just ordered this. Should arrive Friday. Can't wait! Love these games.
Very excited to try this in 3D, also. Didn't really look around for a sale after I saw the Prime price of $47.99. Good enough.
Love the fact that it was made exclusively for current-gen consoles.

Cool. I imagine the 3D allows for adjustments so it can amp the 3D up to strong 3D. Watching the game play, the map looks nicely open to explore, with lots of detail, trees, buildings that work well in a stereo 3D view.

Damn, forgot to try the 3D again tonight.

You guys who are completionists about collectibles, you have to search every dead body, so far as I can tell. A monumental task, given that I'm killing guys from so far away. I missed two in the first chapter after exhaustively revisiting the whole map before continuing. They could be dead in shrubs or tall grass, and I would not know it.

Where is the code for Kessler's safe??

Tried 3D mode for about three minutes tonight. There is just no way I'm going to play this in 720p 3D instead of 4K. I was shooting at enemies about 550m at the time and could barely even make them out in 720p.

I have a 2016 Sony display, and when I first toggled 3D on all I got was a black screen. First it was because my HDR HDMI port does not support 3D. So I switched ports, which is already too much of a PITA. Then I still had a black screen, which worried me, because I could not see to pull of the settings menu in the game to turn off 3D. But ultimately, I forced the PS4 to output 720p, and I got a picture, whereupon I put in my three minutes and switched everything back.

the PS4 pro is giving me an error code on the second mission. A CRE error and it won't play. Anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions? seems to play ok on my original PS4 but id rather play on the PRO

Thanks a lot for the 3D details. Interesting it had to drop to 720p to see the 3D, but understandable since the dual cameras really tax the game engine's frames per second. A lot of PS3 3D games would drop in resolution in 3D mode also.

Even so, nice option to have.

Does that happen even after restarting it and your PS4 Pro? I don't have the pro.
