Government produced documentaries such as this one:

which I believe was broadcast by TNT.

Operation High Jump, Operation Fish Bowl etc.

I would love to see this stuff in a high quality scan of the film elements.

They could make a set, and call it, The Arctic Missions of Admiral Byrd, or something similar...
