I watched Pet Semetary 2 on Monay night for the first time and I thought it was superior to the first.

Watched the below on Wednesday night. One of the best Halloween movies!

Clancy Brown is the best thing about Pet Sematary 2.

Nice selection of films so far
By the way, if you highlight your list then hit the "Ordered list" button (under "Sizes" option in Go Advanced post options), it will number it for you.

My apologies as this is slightly off-topic but I've been looking to get into the horror genre specifically films from the 70's/80's.
I tried looking online for a blu ray version of Halloween but it seem to be OOP resulting in me having to settle for the DVD version. I was wondering if there is any chance of this film coming back out on blu ray in the near future especially with the 40th anniversary approaching.

There are a few eBay sellers selling the Anchor Bay US BD (which is region free) as a reasonably cheap but it now if that is any help.

Odd that they would let Halloween slip to OOP, especially at this time of year.
Just be aware that the 35th anniversary 2013 disc had an improved picture quality, comparison of various releases here. Unfortunately the US release of the 2013 disc is region A locked, whereas the older transfer US release from 2007 is region free.

Thank you both for the quick responses.
Have managed to find an Australian seller selling what appears to be the Anchor Bay release multi-region, works out at just under £12 including shipping which isn't bad at all.

Double tonight. Just finished Sleepwalkers, about to watch The Blob. Two faves from my youth which I'm glad to have on BD

Well, I'm out. My son broke his arm the other day at school and I have been in and out of hospital the past few days (both bones snapped, four hour operation to pin it all together... when they eventually got one of the bones back on the inside).

I'll never be able to catch up now. Thoughtless little bugger!

Sorry to hear that, hope your son is OK now. Sounds like a nasty break.

Yep, I nearly cried just looking at his arm. Poor fella, he is only 12. Didn't cry once.

I may binge on a few horror flicks during Halloween week, but I'm not going to manage 31.

Over the past few days, I've watched:

A Nightmare on Elm Street part 3: Dream Warriors
A Nightmare on Elm Street part 4: The Dream Master
A Nightmare on Elm Street part 5: The Dream Child
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare.

Not sure why I started at part 3, but Jesus, what a sliding scale!

Saw Freddy's Dead at the cinema when it came out. At the 3 minute point (where the kid pops her head up from behind the plane seat) the film broke. I though that this was some kind of format-breaking gimmick, but was disappointed when the movie started back up a few minutes later.

It was the only movie I've tried to get my money back on, only to be greeted by the words: "We only show 'em...."
