Heat is coming in 2009 and I think Gladiator is penciled in for sometime in 09 as well. Bill has stated that MAJOR catalog titles are coming in 2009 (I dont think he was talking about Star Wars though). I suspect, Snatch Lock Stock, Gladiator will all be out sometime in 2009

Paramount is redeeming themselves nicely after the switch-a-roo they pulled. With what they were able to put out in a little amount of time after switching back and what they have planned through the rest of this year I have no doubt in my mind that Gladiator will see release in 2009. I will go as far as saying that Saving Private Ryan will see release as well (look for this one around the anniversary of D-Day.)

As far as Heat, there was talk before of it seeing release this year, but for one reason or another it was pushed back into 2009.

A couple recent movies that I'd like to see on BD include:

Love Actually
25th Hour
Before Sunset

and some older movies from my childhood:

Explorers (with a young Ethan Hawke and River Phoenix)
Stand by Me

The chances of getting any of these on BD are slim to none. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed for future formats.
