On a side note I wonder if the person who took the pictures on the yacht was Laura Vandervoort's character, because as I said a couple weeks ago it doesn't make sense for her to have a role that is pretty much an extra without leading to something bigger. |

I thought the first season was pretty good. It's a lot like Entourage where the actions of the characters don't seem to have consequences and the show was uneven but it certainly wasn't bad for a first season. I'm guessing like Entourage there will be a lot more cameos next season now that athletes and celebrities have seen the show.

The Rock posted on Instagram that they are shooting season 2 in 6 weeks.
https://instagram.com/p/7jZfkdoh79/?taken-by=therock I assume that's going to be his next project. He just filmed a comedy with Kevin Hart called "Central Intelligence" that will premiere early next year. He said in the video that he's training for it. What training is needed? He's playing a retired NFL player who's a money manager. ![]() |

I adored it. Like Entourage but "wilder" and sports-oriented. If you liked the first ep, it's definitely in the same tone. Why don't you wait for Black Friday or something?

Just started watching this show. Entertaining but mostly just a bunch of fluff.
If Reggie doesn't have an epiphany or die in a horrible accident, then Vernon deserves to lose everything. But Reggie is a reality for many athletes in real life, so I guess that's one thing the show has going for it. A lot of the timeline doesn't add up to me though. If Ricky is already one of the greatest WRs of all time in only eight seasons, then he's still putting up huge numbers and would not have been cut outright or a risk to be signed ecause plenty of teams would give him a chance even after that fight. I originally thought Charles was some journeyman OL who played a few years and was out of the game, but then he lists off all these Hall of Fame caliber accolades so why is he working at a car dealership? I never heard anything about him losing his money and he has a stable home and family life, as well as an ass-kicking wife. |

Does Fox have anything to do with Ballers? It is produced by HBO, and HBO Studios handled the first season DVD/Blu-ray release. In addition with season 1 it was available in digital in October 2015 but the DVD/Blu-ray release wasn't announced until March 2016 and wasn't released until June.
