Did studios really fit a 35mm film print on a 66GB Disk? I mean 35mm film print is very very big compared to 1080p blu ray which is 50GB. I still think the disk space is too small i was expecting 100GB.

What‽
Brightstar - HEVC/H.265 encoding is much better than MPEG2/MPEG4/AVC/VC. It compresses more efficiently. Bailey - 100GB disc are out already. And as always, it depends on the length of the movie. The "Adventures of Larry in Saudi Arabia" still won't fit on one disc without crushing it to oblivion. (yes I know its 70mm, but it still holds up) Last edited by RealorFake4K; 10-11-2016 at 05:18 PM. |
