Do you think that these coming to HD could possibly mean that blu-ray releases arent far behind? Most of all Snatch and Monster's Inc. both of which would be huge sellers.

We can only hope and dream, there are so many Disney animated films I would love to own in HD.

They have been showing all the star wars movies on HBO HD, and I don't think those are coming to blu anytime soon. Unfortunatley.

HDNet Movies sometimes shows movies that haven't even been released on DVD, such as "The Legend of Billie Jean".

My only problem with HD channels on cable is the pixelation or screen door effect on action scenes. I've wathed movies on HBOHD and compared to the DVD or blu-ray I have and even the DVD looks better upcoverted to 1080i than the HBOHD version. I'm in the market for a HD antenna for my HDTV. I'm hearing that HD via antenna looks better than cable or satellite. Anyone else heard that? I've dropped my cable service. I was only watching the HD channels and Time Warner makes you buy all the other crap channels just to get HD. I only want the HD stuff. Not the analog or crap digital channels.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's true. OTA HD signals are not compressed like the ones the cable company feeds us, so if you can get them from an antenna then that would probably give you the best picture.
