Jake's awesome. I lent him a load of video nasties on VHS when he was doing ADR for Razor Blade Smile in our production company. Eileen Daly kept popping in to do the foley/voice work. I was smitten!!

If Death laid an egg, knocks twice, carries a cane, wears high heels and walks at midnight, then I can only assume Death is a door-to-door prostitute chicken with a dodgy leg?

Interested in Lady Frankenstein, but not so much Death Laid an Egg. However, Marc Morris has helped me out a ton for information over the years dating right back to the Anchor Bay forums, so I'll be sure to stump up for this campaign!

Now live! The Goals:

Goal 1: We raise £10,000 and the psychotic LADY FRANKENSTEIN gets re-animated from its original 35mm negatives in 2K, with English and Italian audio tracks, plus newly created English subtitles.

Goal 2: We raise £20,000 and DEATH LAID AN EGG gets hatched again from the 35mm negatives in 2K, with English and Italian audio tracks, plus newly created English subtitles.

Goal 3: We raise £25,000 so we can produce fantastic extra features for both films. These will include brand new, in-depth featurettes and new audio commentaries by UK genre experts including Kim Newman and Alan Jones. These extras will be produced to the high standards associated with Nucleus Films extras work.

I've just made my pledge, if you get in quick the first 250 people get the level 1 perk for £25, it goes up after that. Other perks include Grindhouse Trailers DVD packs and the Video Nasties Docs DVD packs as well, but I already have those.

I don't see it being a problem in this case and all the other Euro/Italian projects have done fine up to. It's also good value if it gets to both and not a huge layout overall so it feels quite cheap to back it.
