I sold my DVD copy for about the same as I paid in anticipation of this Blu-ray upgrade but will wait to see if anything else pops up on Diabolik to place an order. I think I'll be safe for a while - they have 100+ copies.

The Blu-ray's transfer is a HUGE upgrade from the old DVD. I popped in the old DVD just to compare, and it really does look terrible in comparison to the new scan used.

Unfortunately it sounds like the same Mono audio source was used once again. The film was originally mixed and released in Dolby Stereo, so it seems like the original elements are most likely now lost.

Missing from the old DVD are the Stills Gallery and the brief Michael Zorek introduction. But the new Jill Schoelen interview (presented in SD) runs close to a half an hour, so that's a definite plus.

Yeah, I'll have to see about picking this up next month after the credit card cools a bit.

I'm more of a fan of sweet-natured 80's teen flicks like Secret Admirer, Private Resort or Can't Buy Me Love and, of course, the John Hughes classics but overall I'm a big fan of the 80 teen genre in general.

I (think) I preordered HOT MOVES through Diabolik but it doesn't show up on my account activity page there. Same thing with I DRINK YOUR BLOOD. I messaged Jesse at Diabolik and he confirmed I'm good to go but why isn't it showing up? Weird.

That happened to me when I ordered the first couple of Vestron Videos. My browser was being funky and I wasn't logged in at the time, so the order never appeared in my history. Fortunately they confirmed that I was good to go too (now I just need The Man From Hong Kong to arrive so they can ship it!)

Won't buy this if they didn't fix the sound- I couldn't believe the DVD was in mono! I have the old VHS and the sound on that is pretty good- they should have just taken the sound off of that if there was no other source.

Diabolik sent me a shipping notification for what I assume is HOT MOVES. I have other things on preorder so it could be something else but this seems like the likeliest order. I hate when orders don't show up in my account history and the shipping notification doesn't tell you.

80's titties are extremely hypnotic, more so than other decades. Sandwiched between wild hair and tight exercise pants, but yet juggling with a natural buoyancy not seen with today's titties. 80's titties represent a special time and place that jugs were the highlight of the film and these films deserve a spot on a pedestal among serious collectors' collections.

Crap. I was going to try to pick this up, but I am completely broke right now. What are the odds of a repress? Will additional copies be on the Big Cartel?

I really wanted this, both for the movie itself, and because it's one of the VHS cases I remember best from my video store days, and I'm trying to make my shelf look like a recreation of the video stores I used to go to, so I wanted this one prominently displayed. Oh well!

This will be up for sale on Code Red's bigcartel soon. Diabolik just sold out of whatever stock they had on hand, probably 100-150. Code Red most likely pressed 1000 so you should still be able to get it.
