I'm pleased and relieved to see this is getting a Blu-ray over here. It's one of the best films I've seen all year. I was thinking Criterion might be putting it out in the US, but will happily pick this up ahead of that.

There are similarities, yes. I loved Fish Tank too, but this is a much bigger piece of work.

Excellent news!

I absolutely adored American Honey when I saw it. It packs a real emotional punch, with some superb naturalistic performances. I thought this might have gone with Artificial Eye like Arnold's other releases, but I'm happy to get it regardless.

Watched it last night at my local cinema, it was very good however I think it could have been shorter. For me Wasp, Red Road and Fish Tank are 3 Masterpieces and this isn't quite on par with those, but it's still a really great film. Andrea is my favorite female director working today.

Goddammit, why is this not showing anywhere near me? Bummed to miss out on this on the big screen but I'll definitely be preordering the blu.

Same situation with I, Daniel Blake for me; welcome to the decline of mainstream cinemas and the rise of independents.

I only got to see that due to the one-night-only Odeon Screen Unseen. Meanwhile half the screens are dedicated to Bridget Jones (still) and Trolls.

This title does have Criterion written all over it.

One of the best films of the year so far I can see it being in my top ten list of the year unless some titles (and there are a few big hitters coming up in the next couple of months) really impress me.

One thing's for sure this will look beautiful on Blu.
