9) Burnt Offerings. It has been a while, I still really like this.
10) Halloween (Zombie). Love it.

There's a disturbing lack of The Conjuring in this thread. One of my favourites.

Last few days of the challenge, slowed down a little but should still hit around 50 films by Halloween.
Tonights film, #46, unfortunately don't have a blu (yet), but did have a TV recording;

Night of the Creeps

Got the US BD, worth picking up if you like this film. Atkins is awesome as always.

Default My Halloween Viewing (2016)

I mainly watch a bunch of film I've never seen before, with some so appalling they are almost instantly forgettable. Therein possibly lies the problem of unintentionally stumbling accross them again. Thankfully this year that hasn't happen.... so far. But here is this years selection of halloween horror.

Film #48, one of my favourite films (in any genre), John Carpenter's 1982 classic "The Thing".

Horror Month - great idea.
It's too late for me to get started this year but I think I'll join in next year !

Anyhow, it's been a Nosferatu double-bill for me this evening...

"I want off this ship!", "You can't leave. She won't let you."

Film #50, not enough people talk about this one, Paul W.S. Anderson's 1997 film "Event Horizon".

One last film (I have it cued up ready to watch it now), arguably one of the best vampire films out there. Film #51, "30 Days of Night".

One of my all-time favourite sci-fi horror films. Highly underrated in my opinion.

I hope one day they release an 'ultimate edition' BD with the full director's cut - it now only exists in VHS quality but it would be fascinating to see what the director originally intended.
They could include it as a special feature on a new edition.

And it just so happens to be the 20th Anniversary next year. Fingers crossed.

I wouldn't be able to find the time to watch a horror movie a day, although when I have had the chance throughout October, this is the genre I've most been watching. So between 1st and 31st I've watched:
The Conjuring 2
It
Salem's Lot
Cat' Eye
Cat People (1942)
Burnt Offerings
An American Werewolf in London
Trick 'r Treat
The Burning
The Exorcist
The First Power
Prison
Frenzy
Frankenweenie
Oculus
(Plus Episode 1 of Walking Dead Series 7 and Episode 1 of The Exorcist)
