The Young Ones in the early 1980's on MTV was pretty weird and funny, one of the characters had stars stick into his forehead.

Apparently from BBC2 television. You brits are quite the funny ones! lol

Got another weird one from the province of Quebec

Les Saterlipopettes

A game show where 2 teams of kids would answer trivia question, each good answer gave you a robot piece, first team to assemble their robot won and there was a message from the robot. The host was call captain Cosmos.

Looking back you got to wonder what we were smoking over here

Get A Life was downright wacky. Chris Elliott getting smarts from toxic waste and using his newfound power to win all the spelling bees in the world (and moon). His friends getting amnesia by eating bad shellfish from a wheelbarrel and then making them think they really liked him, only to have them regain their senses and rip his head off and kick it around the yard like a soccer ball. I can go on.

I would have to say The greatest American Hero. Great theme song but the show needed help.
