Default !!! I'm ESTATIC !!! new toys!

After months and months of saving, holding up on buying video game, swallowing my pride while convincing my girlfriend to buy me food. I finally have enough cash. Just got done ordered myself 2 Klipsch f1 and a C3 center. Now my set up is finally completed!

Onkyo 805
4 S-1 surround
2 F-1 towers
1 C-3 center
a Ps3 and an Optoma HD70.

i'm hoping they will ship it soon and i hope it goes thru smoothly with my credit card I got it from vanns.com. The klipsch f-1 tower is $134 each, and the C3 center was $143. All with zero tax and free shipping!

I just recently upgraded all of my speaker wires and i can't wait to test out my Klipsch set up. Will post picture as soon as i get them here.

What made you choose the C3 instead of the C1 or C2? I love it and it's huge. I have to sit it ontop of my TV instead of putting it below where I wanted it to go.

mainly because of its 150w rms. Center channel is very important to me, and the space where i'm gonna use it is a basement so it's should fll in nicely. Oh and the price is just too nice to pass up

Nice! You'll be happy. I recently replaced my S1 surrounds with F1 towers. It's awesome. I'm thinking about adding the S1's back in to the mix to get 7.1 audio, but then I'd lose the bi-amping I did on my F2's in the front.

O' Really..........
lol

I really do think that would be better. NO I havn't heard my fronts bi-amp yet, but the 7.1 surround is fantastic. Even if the movie is only a 5.1 you can matrix the other 2 for all speakers to function.

I don't think I can with the 606 can I? Not if I am using the PS3 to send audio via PCM?

I was reading the Owner's Manual_606 and on page 64, they explain the listening modes. Some of them will take 5.1 source and expand to 7.1.

1. Dolby Pro Logic IIx - Expands 2-channel for 7.1 playback
2. 5.1 Channel Source + Dolby EX - expands a 5.1 source for 6.1/7.1 channel playback
3. 5.1 Channel Source + Dolby PL IIx Music/Movie - 5.1 Channel source for 7.1 Channel Playback

There are other's, just didn't feel like typing it all

Necrothreading can be addictive and dangerous. You may want to talk to a professional specialist about that.
