Fortunately, Megastar HK is going REGION ALL

The first Blu-ray disc from Hong Kong and it looks neat

. Quite cheap too (USD$25 starting price). Which means........that due to the number of PS3s out on the market (more than 100k in HK) versus the number of any HD-DVD devices incl. X360 add-on (less than 1k

)..........HONG KONG IS DEFINITELY GOING ALL-BLU

Hopefully they'll release the other two movies as well. I really can't wait to get the Infernal Affairs Trilogy on Blu-ray

EDIT: According to Mega Star, they are still studying the sales of the Infernal Affairs Blu-ray DVD disc. If it goes well, then they will release more titles on Blu-ray.

So I encourage everyone to bring more Cantonese movies on Blu-ray by purchasing this disc. It's up to us to show Megastar that we are willing to see HK movies on Blu-ray and that we support them all the way in such endeavors.

Blackraven any word on the PQ on that? HK filmmakers aren't exactly known for creating cinematic masterpieces to begin with ^^;.

Truely is a phenominal movie. For those that don't know it was this movie I believe upon which the idea for The Departed was based.

actually found a copy on eBay, a little more expensive but thats ok, this movie is totally worth it

And yes, The Departed was based on the Infernal Affair Trilogy and WB condensed it into 1 movie so far, I heard they will be remaking the 2nd movie which goes back in the time and see how everything really started...

it is not "Blu-Ray DVD Disc" It is Blu-Ray Disc, please do not have Blu-Ray consufed with DVD. Thank you!!!!!
