she is hot, but WW is the champion of the Amazons, you don't want a body builder but there should be more muscle definition then she has.

Although I think she is a talented entertainer, I don't feel that she would be the best candidate to fill Lynda Carter's costume, much less her boots...
In my humble opinion, I think that Jessica Beal would probably be a much better candidate than Beyonce (Sasha Fierce)...

she is an Amazon not from the Amazon river. In ancient Greek mythology there was a people in the north where the women where as tough as any man from elsewhere and they where the ones that fought while their man kept the homes

trivia: the term Amazon comes from single breast because they supposedly chopped off their right breast so that it would not interfere while shooting with the bow.


her creator decided to use these Greek stories of Amazons to create his story. Instead of disappearing in myth they had enough of man’s world and went off and thrived on a hidden island in the Atlantic (?). During WWII a US pilot crashed on their island, princess Diana their champion and daughter of the queen, brought him back and decided to stick around as an ambassador of the Amazons in man’s world. Her powers/tools are both physical, mental (champion of the Amazon's – they develop their muscles in conjunction with mental endurance training) and mystical (gifts from the Greek gods like Athena, Aphrodite...) which is why she has a lasso of truth and an invisible plane and me.

because where she comes from is irrelevant, the most important thing is that that is how she was drawn and how she has been since the 40's when she was created. Obviously movies can take some liberties (just like comic books – for example does a WWII beginning make sense for a superhero in our day?) but you can’t change the fundamentals. WW is a tall muscular white woman with black wavy hair, who is a feminist.

Since Obama won, it means it's time to change everything because the superhero's can no longer keep their original look, everything must change.

Catwoman wasn't bad because of Halle Berry, it was bad because it was a horribly written script. You need to blame the writers and not the actress for that one.

As for Beyonce playing WW, I'm not sure either way how I feel about that one. But come on...if the WW script stinks the movie will suck no matter who plays her.

IESB is also reporting a rumor that DC/WB would like McG to direct Wonder Woman, but no one knows if the talk has progressed any further than “just talk”. After seeing what McG has done with Terminator Salvation (I visited the set, can’t say much more at this time), I believe he could be the right choice to bring Wonder Woman to the big screen. McG was also once attached to Superman, before he dropped out in the later stages of development. I think Wonder Woman might be more his style.

No interest at all in seeing a Wonder Woman film... no matter who's in it. She just wasn't a comic book character I liked. I used to have about 1500 comic books in the 60's but not one was Wonder Woman. It was a flat lifeless character and that dopey 70's series didn't help.

I heard that Louis Gossett Jr. was originally going to play George Bush in W. and that Dustin Diamond was going to play Barrack Obama in an upcoming biopic. I like the the idea of giving Hollywood complete control of the art direction of movies based on comics, which are sacred to fans hearts.

Just kidding. Hollywood quit destroying everything that I like by remaking great movies and turning them in to crap and turning great comic books into craptacular cinema.

It was one of my favorite comic books and TV shows growing up. I really liked Cathy Lee Crosby in the TV movie and wasn't happy when I found out Lynda Carter was playing the part in the TV series. That didn't last long as I really liked Lynda Carter in the role. At the moment, I can't imagine anyone else in the role but I'm sure I'll adjust to whoever they pick (as long as they look like a woman).
