Default How do I edit a page to enable price tracking?

I've noticed a number of pages that don't give the option to price-track the release. In perusing the editing choices, I haven't noticed where price tracking is turned "on" or "off."

Is the lack of trackability an oversight on the part of the people who created those items' pages, or a conscious choice to prevent tracking of certain releases (and if so why)?

How do I edit the page to enable price-tracking of these items?

Thanks!

Did you ever figure this out JT? I have seen this a few times myself. I was thinking maybe it had something to do with releases not being found on Amazon. I know they seem to have just about everything but sometimes they might not have certain editions even in their marketplace.

I believe that if Amazon themselves sell something then it's price trackable. If/when they don't (and there's an increasingly large number of titles oop), even if it's sold by a marketplace seller, then it's not price trackable.

Here's an example of a DVD sold by an mp seller, that can even be combined to make free shipping, but isn't trackable: https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/The-Lost...ine-DVD/50207/

Oh yeah that's probably true. It will probably show that it's available from Amazon (marketplace) but you can't track it. That sounds right

Just created an account to price track Star Wars: TFA Steel Book via Best Buy. The price tracker button shows below the title when I'm logged out, but disappears when I'm logged in.

Is this normal? The above posts make sense if true that it only price tracks via Amazon, but why would the price tracker option be there when logged out?

That's very interesting AirMcLaren. Personally I wouldn't be able to say if it's normal, as I only ever check the site when logged in. The option to track Best Buy would be great, but I can't recall seeing it before (although I haven't been a member nearly as long as many others, so there may well be people who know more about that than I).
