What is going on here and why has season 2 not been released on blu ray yet but season 3 has?

come on fox!
i've nearly finished rewatching S01 its time..

I would not expect to see this for a while. Large television boxsets are a tough sell on Blu-ray at this stage for the studios with production capacity and profit issues.

there was a article some time ago that said that lost and prison break older seasons wouldnt be released on blu for awhile as there focusing on current projects and not older seasons of tv shows

i picked up 1-3, was shocked that i had to buy season 2 on dvd

Yeah I want Lost 1 and 2 and Prison Break 2 soooooo bad. It drives me nuts. I guess I'll just pick them up on DVD.

I know how you feel...the best I have for Season 2 are 720p downloads.

Season 4 will likely be the last season so we won't have to wait long for a complete collection. My guess is they'll release 2 and 4 late next year.
