Default Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds

Anyone else catch this on HBO?

Watched it last night and absolutely loved it. Learned a lot about Debbie that I never knew. Jeez...did I cringe every time I saw Carrie with a cigarette in her hand but she definitely could still sing, even though her speaking voice was shot.

Really miss them both

I caught it on Sunday morning, the morning after the debut on HBO, and it was a very cool little documentary. I did cringe on Carrie Fisher smoking like crazy, and I honestly think Carrie worrying about her mom and Debbie worrying about Carrie, they put that kinda pressure on themselves and when Carrie passed on, I'm most certain Debbie couldn't take the loss and she passed afterwards.
I learned a lot about them for sure! I liked Carrie dancing at the Great Wall back in 1988!

I watched it the other night and found it to be rather mediocre.

I thought it became a reality TV show for most of its duration with some little interesting things interspersed throughout.

Loved it. Couldn't help thinking about Postcards from the Edge. And yes, a bit of Grey Gardens, too - but cleaner . The part in London with her childhood friend Griffin Dunne is a riot. On a side note: on PFTE, Carrie chain-smokes all the way through her (terrific) commentary track.
