Definitely do not pay $20 for these releases, I got them when they were $8 a while back and they are supposed to be showing up in stores for $7.50 according to signage I saw over the weekend at my local Walmart.

Watched my copy and it was a good enough presentation for $7.50. Telecine wobble in the credits but a better transfer than I was expecting.

I felt the same way. Universal is hit or miss with catalog titles. But I thought this was a decent and very watchable presentation.

Good to hear it's decent pq. I might pick it up this week, though several of the other Universal titles I rushed out to get in the past ended up five or six bucks pretty quickly. Not huge bank but it seems to be the trend with these 80s to mid 90s catalog titles.

Pleasantly surprised with the a/v quality on this one. No menu or features, but it's a budget-priced mid-80's comedy catalog tittle. So I'm fine with that.

No menu? Boo Universal Boo! It like Howard the Duck, Batteries Not Included and Earthquake (all Universal title Blu-ray) no menu neither and thanks for head up. So will get the Blu-ray in one day

Like most of these store exclusives, we won't get it for another 6 months or so when it goes on general release.

Canada might get it sooner. I'm looking at the listing for It Came from Outer Space, which was a BB exclusive in the US, and Amazon.ca got it the same day (Oct. 4th). It's releasing widely on Feb. 14th, so a little over 4 months.

In fact,there's actually a page (not live) available for it on Amazon.ca, along with some the other exclusives with the same release dates as the WM exclusives.

I got mine today as well. Pleasantly surprised by Walmart at getting it soo early. I can't say the same about pre-orders from Target.

It's got the double barcodes for a dual layer disc.

Also, the packaging says BD50.
