I just watched this on Netflix - talk about a hidden gem. I like to think of it as Pan's Labyrinth lite... the plot is conventional, but there are elements of fantasy and gothic storytelling. A very artistic piece of film. Peyton Kennedy is also fantastic in the role of Gitty - reminds me of Mackenzie Foy in Interstellar.
