The first half hour starts well then it takes this turn and doesn't recover again to the end shame.

That's kind of what I heard. It's a shame, because the trailer was glorious. I was so amped to see it, but got really deflated after poor reviews, and just decided I'll rent it.

It could be included. BB just lists it as a 4-Disc set. I imagine Argo, and the Town are locks. I also have to assume Live by Night is included considering it's the same day as the others. Now whether the 4th disc is another movie, or a 2nd BD from one of the other releases (like say The Town's extended cut) is unknown right now.

If a Ben Affleck Collection is being released wouldn't the 4th film be Gone Baby Gone, I know WB didn't do that one but they didn't do the first Mad Max film either and it's included in the Mad Max Collection
Live by Night might not be as good as Town or Argo but I enjoyed it and Affleck is still a better director than most and he only has 4 titles under his belt

I don't see it happening personally. Gone Baby Gone is with Miramax, and distributed by Lionsgate. I don't see them working out something just for a minor release like this. Though to be fair, they did do something similar with the Christopher Nolan set, by including Memento, but I think that one was a little bit of a bigger set, with more specialty packaging than I assume this is getting. We'll have to see.

I'm more interested to see if Live By Night will have some type of Extended/Director's Cut. Fingers crossed.

I hope it does. I have no problems with the Theatrical Cut, but it definitely felt like it could have been a little longer.

A shame this movie tanked so badly. I don't think anybody was expecting it to be a box office smash, but I figured it would have pulled $70-75 million and not the measly $20 million it did.

Will definitely pick this up!

67 one days from it's theatrical release to be exact. Warner's desperation is eye rolling.

It was released theatrically on 12//25 in a limited engagement, so that's 86 days from that time.

All studios do it with whatever films they have deemed Oscar bait.

Will give Live by Night a chance when it's cheap. No interest in the Collection, I already have The Town and Argo, and I have absolutely no desire to own The Accountant. (Even if it's BvS, I have that anyway.)

Cover art, and films included in the Ben Affleck collection:

Live by Night
The Accountant
Argo
The Town

$50 for that set is actually pretty good considering it includes a new release, and a fairly recent one too. Plus, if that's just the MSRP, then it'll go down even further too.

Germany has a 4K version of Live By Night scheduled for release in June. UK may also get one. Looks like a US 4K release is DOA.

Knew this would be coming as soon as he directed another movie lol, WB sure loves their director's boxed sets. But the inclusion of The Accountant is odd, is it to offset Live By Night or something? Should be Gone Baby Gone as the fourth movie of course.
