Default TH42PX80U vs TH42PZ80U

Right now I can pick up a brand new TH42PX80U for $599 the only problem it is 720p. The price on the TH42PZ80U is $899. For those that have these tvs hooked up to bluray players is there much difference in the sets with the set only being 42 inches

42pz80u $849

I guess it would depend on how far away from the set you sit. Anything farther than 7 feet or so and you would have a hard time of telling the difference between 720P and 1080P on a 42" set.

the PZ80 has better black levels (it has a darker panel), so the thing here is not the resolution, but the blacks. 42" TV is too small for you to notice any pixels or "screen door effect" on it from 8-12 feet away, that's just what I've noticed starring at those TVs 5 days a week.
