I have heard good things on this but i might wait for an sale since HBO shows on Blu-ray tend to be high when they first come out but later on there on a sale did that with the entire season of The Wire.

I have the press release and I'm confirming with Warner, but it looks like season 1 is ONLY coming out on Digital HD on March 6th. The press release announces the Digital HD on March 6th and then in a little blurb near the end states

"Westworld: The Complete First Season will also be released on Blu-ray and DVD ahead of the show’s highly-anticipated second season"............which comes out in 2018... making me think that the physical media will come out at the end of 2017 or in early 2018 with the second season.

Hope they´ll do some kind of cool Digipak-Release as they did for all of the GoT-seasons in the past. Can´t wait to get Westworld on BD. Bring it on! Besides Stranger Things the most anticipated show to get a Blu-Ray release in my mind right now...

Yeah, the March 6 date and the $38.99 price match what VUDU has for the Digital HD version and what Amazon had when the digital version was briefly available to order. Not expecting the Blu-ray until late 2017, early 2018.

yup, confirmed with WB...the Blu-ray/DVD doesn't come out till probably end of 2017/beginning of 2018

Well, at least we know it's coming. Unfortunately, a physical release so much later than the digital release gives them time to change their mind about the physical release. They better not.

Remember, if digital sales don't perform, it doesn't mean lack of interest. It means people want physical not digital

I'll preorder this as soon as physical is available.

This is an annoying trend treating those of us who buy physical product like second class citizens.
