BD Won't Play Reg DVD's...What's Up With That???? - Blu-ray Forum

Since the dawn of purchase BD S300 won't play reg DVD's...Kept current with firmware downloads. Haven't download the 4.2 but will tonight but not counting on any change....Any ideas?????

when did u purchase the player? have you tried more than one different dvd?

and why wouldnt you have taken it back to the store and exchanged it for a different one after you found out DVDs didnt work?

I have the same player, but, it can play DVD's without a problem. So, I say take it in for repairs.
