Hello all.

I've found this locally at a decent price and just wondering if anyone here can recommend (or not). I have seen the flat version and quite enjoyed it for what is was, does the 3D add to it? Thanks.

This looks like a German autoconversion to me. The 3D is probably weak to non-existent. This is one of the reviews on Amazon.de, autotranslated:

"Unfortunately, I could not see a 3D effect. The only difference to the 2D version is that the image has been moved a bit backwards, so it looks as if the displayed image behind the screen. I do not know what that should suggest a greater spatial impression? The rear-offset image was only two-dimensional. People were not forward as the background, etc. After 7 minutes I changed to the 2D version."

Thankfully auto conversion blu ray 3D releases are isolated to certain markets, because they only hurt the reputation of stereo 3D if that's the first thing a new 3D audience sees for 3D, with the auto conversion usually being very mild, weak 3D that looks pretty much 2D and just pushed into the screen a little.

Who on earth would have had this locally? Was it The Warehouse or JB's import or was it a second hand dealer like real groovy?
