Cool Runnings (1993) (DMC Exclusive)

I confirmed via chat with Disney Movie Club that their next exclusive will be Cool Runnings, available March 28th.

I tried to update the blu-ray's page but the boxes for the release date and if it is an exclusive show they are locked as of a few years ago - not sure how to update otherwise...

Wow I loved this movie when I was a kid. Now I have to figure out how to acquire a copy without joining the DMC thing.

Sweet! I wasn't sure if Disney would ever release anymore of their live action films from the 90s. Do you know which other exclusive releases they've done for blu ray? Also, you have to join a club in order to purchase this?

Yes, they have quite a few so far and yes you have to join to buy, unless you want to possibly pay more on eBay for a copy. I joined back when the first ones came out just to get the exclusives and have remained VIP to continue to be able to get them. There are more than enough exclusives to fulfill a membership though:

Aw yes, the Jamaican bobsledding John Candy starring vehicle cult classic.

Too bad its a DMC exclusive, but this could be a great title to get people to join.

Average is $89.70+tax for 9 movies so $9.97+tax per film.

Does this film still hold up? I loved it as a kid and maybe even high school. But I've seen a ton of films since then...

No direct enrollment fee, but you do commit to buying 2 additional items in 24 months after your initial signup package ($12-22 for 7 or 8 Movies using the good promo codes).

You also must decline the Featured Title selection each cycle or it will auto ship/charge your account, but that takes 10 seconds a month and you get plenty of reminders so it isn't hard, BUT the negative selection option can't be turned off even after you meet your required purchases.

That's quite a few hoops to jump through IMHO.
