Hmm, interesting. Never occurred to me, they have a valid point. Just wish they didn't have to tear things down and hopefully nothing becomes violent.

Idiots. Instead of protesting, how about making the Kannada media and film industry better?

I do understand that Bangalore has kind of lost its identity and its own language to other cultures but protesting isn't going to help and would only inflict self harm. Maybe they can bring a referendum and call it Bengxit like Brexit.

Yeah it's a pretty LOFTY request to demand movies be remade in a language instead of dubbed. And I'm used to growing tired of people wanting Dubs instead of Subs.

Only an ethnic group in India could demand such a request, being that India has the biggest number of native languages in the world and they actually cater to them all.

It must be hard for India film makers because they always do dub themselves to time things for simultaneous release everywhere. Or direct multiple versions of the same movie with the same actors speaking the other languages. It seems Indian film makers have to do the most "work" out of any industry in the world!

If the producer of Baahubali, for instance, decides to spend the same amount of money to remake the film in Kannada, the film chamber is happy.
LOL
