A great deal on a good 5-speaker set-up, comparable to the Polk RM line - I would definitely go for it, if I were you, at that price.

They might just do the job, if it makes you happy. Nothing quite like new toys!

Speaking of the polk rm line i can get the rm75 for $269 for that set, so these two set head to head which is superior

They are supposed to be good. Not my thing, but if you like them that seems to be a good price on them.

Personally I would say to spend that money on Fronts, a Center, Rears and finally add a Sub later. I have never liked speaker packages. Besides as many people will atest, you will have upgrade-itist in about a year anyways, best just to do it right the first time.

For instance
Polk Monitor 50's Floorstanding, CS1 Center, Monitor 30's bookshelf's $377 from amazon.

Save up and add a Sub in a few months.

just my 2 cents tho

I'm using them for surrounds and rears. I thought my Onkyo 805 was going to be to much power for these satellite speakers, but they sound amazing when the volume is turned up.

monoprice.com along with numerous other places including places like home depot. just don't spend too much money for no reason at places like best buy.

Correctumondo. Check to make sure that the same side of the wire is connected to the + & - at each end. Most speaker wire has a white stripe on one side.. or two different strand colors or SOME way to tell the difference between the two sides.

If they are connected correctly, and you still get the error... then the internal wiring in the speaker may be crossed in which case I'd swap it out.

Well it has to be inside the speaker cause i switched the wires around from the receiver to the speaker and i did the setup again and it ok, now the big question is if the difference in polarity will damage the speaker
