thats good news as i will get that for sure.it thought it was a good movie for the first between these two but could have been better as they gave way to much to freddy and made jason to slow and didnt really to jason justice but it was still a good movie oh and one other thing i am a jason fan jason forever

Canada is the same region as the US so unless you're wanting to pick it up locally, why wait for a US release?

Fun movie, but Jason acts more like Michael Myers than Jason. Jason is aggressive and he walks, but its a steady fast walk and not like a robot like he was in this movie.

I think Freddy accidently raised remake Michael from the dead and into Jason's clothes.

I'll be picking this up though.

Don't think I'll make the upgrade on this. Happy w/ just owning it on DVD as I really haven't re-watched it that many times. Maybe in a few years if I see it in the bargain bin I'll pick it up. But there's just too many other better movies that I have to pick up.

I was lucky to meet Robert Englund as he came at a festival over here many years ago for this movie. Funny movie but the one that lost at the end was not the one I wanted to see lose.

Not as bad as some of the Nightmare or Friday sequels, but still not all that great. I won't be upgrading, I'll stick with my DVD.

Probably because they replaced the one and only Kane Hodder for this one. He played Jason in 6, 7, 8, 9 & X.

Yeah I remember when it was announced he wasn't coming back for this. I would have loved to have seen Kane back for FvJ though. His Jason was a bad-ass tank who didn't have to hold on to the machete the whole damn movie. He just grabbed whatever he could or just crushed skulls with his bare hands.
