I know that on the 2D Blu-Ray disc that is included, you can play the movie with the overture. Does anyone know if you can do that with the 3D disc?

Also on Zavvi's website, they state that this version is region free, but
this site says Region B. Can anyone confirm that this release is region free?

i got the uk 3d beast & the beast bluray from zoom the Saturday just gone, ive checked it has english for hearing inpaired, netherlands, french subtitles on the 3d disc, but english for hearing inpaired, portuguese, spanish subtitles on 2d disc, Xonon only uk 3d disc has dutch subtitles im afraid

There aren't any IMAX scenes in the film to begin with it, so there's no need to be concerned.

Well my local IMAX didn't project it properly then, because it was just a fixed 2.40:1 ratio throughout.

There is an IMAX version apparently. But it looks like it was reformatted for it. So nothing to worry about

If you read the database listing here then it says
Region B (A, C untested).

Which is default when a new UK title is listed. It means it could be RB locked or it could be region free.

You need a moderator to change this, once people have the actual disk to confirm.

If a title is confirmed as RB locked it will say here
Region B (locked)
as with Studio Canal titles in the UK.

Just watched Beauty and the Beast, was wonderful. I had low expectations but was very impressed. One thing that lets it down though is Emma Watson, she's lovely but she can't sing, she can't act and it brung the whole thing down a few notches which is a shame. I'm sure there were much more fitting actresses available. But still, very good.

Is the back cover of anyone else's 3D Blu-ray printed really badly, on both the slip and paper? The image of Belle and Beast is very low-res, pixelated.

Is the Big Sleeve Edition exclusive to Tesco? as my local has half a dozen copies and I remember their Rogue One was an exclusive and quickly became quite sought after.
