Pre-ordered for the 3D factor alone. If the Best Buy version stays the same and this doesn't match it in artwork, I'll take the Best Buy artwork over the 3D. That Best Buy steelbook is beyond perfect and beyond beautiful!!!

If I could I would do it like that, but living in Sweden it's quite expensive to order from BB... I just have to hope that Zavvi will be using the same artwork as BB since that, as you write, is perfect and beautiful!!

I didn't realize Zavvi's is 3D. Kind of odd that Disney isn't releasing 3D SB at BB. I might have to do this then. :|

By the way, does anyone understand how the international shipping costs works for Zavvi? When I pre-ordered the £24.99 Moana 3D steelbook shipping was free, but when I pre-ordered the £24.99 Beauty and the Beast 3D steelbook I was charged an additional £2.50 for shipping.
Similar thing has happened to me several times with other orders. It's all very confusing.

Yes, it's weird. We got all sorts of nice Disney 3D stuff like Frozen 3D, Ratatouille 3D etc here that for some reason you guys didn't get. Is 3D a bigger thing in Europe than in the US I wonder?

Oh yeah, I knew that, but Disney has been on a roll recently with release or re-releasing 3D movies. And I thought BATB would be a big enough movie to release in 3D, especially with a steelbook.

I wonder why not this, but they included both in Moana?

Unfortunately, here in the US, I believe TV's are mostly no longer being made with 3D. LG's 2016 line was the last of their TVs to come with it. Samsung had already stopped making 3DTVs last year. I think Sony are the only ones left now. It really sucks. I've invested so much in to my 3D collection. I picked up a 4k/3D LG last Black Friday so I'm covered for several years but if that TV ever needs replacing, I'll be SOL.

Guess I'll be ordering this from Zavvi....which sucks because I'll have to them buy a US DMR/DMA code. (I prefer the actual blu-ray every time but it's easier for the kids to be able to stream).

Edit - I suppose I could just go with the BBY 2D for now and hold out for 3D until Blufans works their magic.

They are now being phased out everywhere. Which begs the question: Will they continue to make 3D discs as long as 3D films are released?

Ordered just in case BestBuy's doesn't have 3D. Also, if that ends up being the case I'll probably opt for the Target exclusive to go along with it. Can't miss out on the digital copy.
